Metamenu Touch Tracks is a revolutionary companion for movies and TV. Rich information (called metadata) runs along with the movie or TV show. When combined with Metamenu remote control, it gives you unparalleled control over the experience. Even without remote control, you can enjoy new features on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad in sync with your primary screen.
Dialog tracks are on (the default setting), so for starters you get "subtitles" in the palm of your hand. Did you miss what an actor said? No problem, just look down and read it. Drag backward or forward on the timeline to read the dialog. Another tap to start the movie or TV show from that spot.
We're working now with Hollywood producers to create new applications that use the Touch Tracks interface. Upcoming features include audio replacement scenarios (imagine putting on headphones and getting the movie in a different language than everybody else in the room), and many other types of extras and bonus features to user satisfaction and delight.
No Remote? No worries.
You can enjoy many benefits of Metamenu Touch Tracks even without the remote control features. Drag to the desired position in the timeline, then touch the Play button to start the player in real time. This so-called "soft sync" mode will enable you to view the dialog as it plays along with the film, even with no technical connection between the two screens.
